Our Story

Hi, I'm Christie, a mum from the Central Coast of NSW and the founder of Audry.

My daughter has had six sets of grommets. Six.

Along the way we've had more ear infections than I can count, and missed our fair share of swimming lessons to surgeries and recovery. But she's never stopped loving the water, and I never wanted grommets to take that away from her.

We tried plenty of ear protection. Some of it slipped off, some of it was uncomfortable, and most of it led to complaints five minutes into a lesson. I wanted something that actually stayed on, felt comfortable, and came in designs she'd genuinely choose to wear. I couldn't find it, so I made it.

Why Audry?

The name comes from "auditory", meaning all things hearing. And our otter mascot? We chose a water animal with little ears, just like our swimmers.

What we make

Audry ear bands are soft neoprene bands that sit snugly over the ears to help keep water out. Pair them with our kid-sized ear putty for extra peace of mind. They come in fun prints like sharks, otters, unicorns and space, because kids are far more likely to wear something they love.

Made by a family, for families

Audry is run by me and my husband Glenn. Everything we sell passes one test: would we use it for our own daughter?

Because children with grommets deserve to enjoy the water too.
